Give your next function or event an eclectic historical touch by hiring Victoria Hall as your venue. THis stunning 115 year old hall also features the newly renovated contemporary Hobbs Bar, as well as our outdoor deck where you can enjoy watching the sun set over Fremantle’s east end.
Victoria Hall was designed by John Talbot Hobbs and built as a parish hall for St John’s Church in 1896. The City of Fremantle made a commitment to purchasing and restoring the hall in 2001 because of its architectural, social and cultural value. Victoria Hall is now listed with the National Trust, the Fremantle Heritage Inventory and the National and State Heritage Registers and is the current home of Deckchair Theatre.
Hobbs Bar
When you come to the theatre, give yourself time to relax and enjoy our intimate bar before and after hte show. It’s always open an hour prior to the performance so come early and enjoy a beverage or pre-show snack. And there’s no rush to finish, you can always take the drinks in with you. Hobbs Bar is proudly supported by Little Creatures and Arimia Wines.
