About

he Tuxedo Cat is determined to add fun and scope to cities via the occupancy of unusual properties (usually derelict or earmarked for future development) that we turn into art spaces for the benefit of festivals, artists and punters. In the past the Tuxedo Cat has been acclaimed as one of the most unique and diverse venue for both the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. The Adelaide Tuxedo Cat’s origins began at Synagogue Place atop the Market Bazaar becoming known as one of the hidden treasures of the Adelaide art scene. Moving to a new venue in 2011 the Adelaide Tuxedo Cat is set to be one of the largest and most unique venue’s of the 2011 Fringe Festival. Converting and abandoned building into an incredible multi-state purpose built entertainment area the Adelaide Tuxedo Cat will be one of the most popular hot spots for this years festival.
