Putting On The Ritz features Simon Phillips, Artistic Director, Melbourne Theatre Company discussing how he chooses work and priorities for him as a director, popular childrens author Morris Gleitzman and comedian and actor Mary-Anne Fahey who will examine the book-to-stage process from the points of view of author, playwright, director and performer.
A unique part of this conference will be the opportunity to work through various budget options, design and the different ways a play (Svetlana in Slingbacks by Valentina Levkowicz) could be interpreted for use as a school or local theatre company production.
