A pretty young parlour maid is discovered unconscious,
holding a gun, while her lover lies dead beside her in
the home of a prominent family. Adapted from a French
farce, this comedy centres on a young magistrate
tasked with getting to the bottom of the murder. His
superiors want the incident swept under the carpet, but
there’s more to this case than meets the eye!
