Seated all alone on a wooden bench, Rose is 'sitting shiva' - The Jewish period of mourning, where she sits for a week to talk, laugh, cry and remember. At 80 Rose has a great deal to remember, escape the cossack in the Ukraine, the Nazi's in the warsaw ghetto, fleeing to newly founded Israel and eventually settling in America.
A story of great courage, hope and humour, Rose marks the return to the stage by Rosemarie Lenzo and is directed by Jenny Davis and Gillian Berry.
