Mama

For one night only, KULCHA presents original drama with music! Mama stars the actor / singer Alinta Carroll and accordionist Eddie Staszak (Trio Alegra), a favourite with Kulcha audiences. Mama tells the story of a 1940s mother-daughter vaudeville duo, rivals in love and on the stage. What will happen when street musician, Ben, arrives on the scene? Threaded through the story are beautiful songs of the era including the well known French song made famous by Edith Piaf, La Vie en Rose, and the Marlene Dietrich song, Lili Marlene.
