ENCORE MATINEE PERFORMANCE OF "DRIVING MISS DAISY"
Due to popular demand Sandgate Theatre Inc. will hold a special matinee performance of "Driving Miss Daisy" on 25 November at 2 pm.
This classic play about the relationship between a grouchy Jewish widow and her black chauffeur is performed in an American Cafe style atmosphere with live jazz, popcorn, sloppy joes, pumpkin pie and donuts, plus the amazing talents of pianist Dot Williams and the Southern Belles singing group.
Nightly performances will also be held on 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 November at 7.30 pm. The venue is the Sandgate Town Hall (corner of Brighton Road & Seymour Street). Tickets are $18 Adult, $14 Concession (unemployed, pensioners, groups of ten or more) and $5 children (5-12 yrs). For bookings call Donna on 0433 137 849 or email theatrebooking@yahoo.com.au.
