Murdoch University’s student theatre group, Bedlam Theatre Company, is turning ten years old. And to celebrate, we are bringing back to the stage one of the very first plays performed by the Bedlamites, Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
Exploring themes of love and murder, of family and loyalty, it is a story that is as beautiful as it is terrifying.
We believe that Hamlet is a play that will always captivate its audience, wherever and whenever it may be performed. So our characters will cross the boundaries of time, and mix modernity with the medieval. Colourful and clever, this is a production that will stay in your mind for a long time.
