Conditions at the "Sleep-Tite" factory are anything but peaceful, as sparks fly between the superintendent Sid Sorokin(Justin Freind) and Babe Williams (Jo Wheatley), leader of the union activist group. Their stormy relationship comes to a head when the workers strike for a 71/2cent pay increase, setting of not only a conflict between management and labour, but a battle of the sexes as well.
